Products description
This microfilter is situated to the side of the Multiair unit on the cylinder head. It protects the Multiair unit from contaminates which the oil would otherwise transport into the fine oil channels in the Multiair unit.
As with all other filters of an internal combustion engine it is recommended to replace this filter regularly to avoid the common problems with the Multiair unit (lack of power, noisy "hydraulic tappets"). This is especially recommend for cars whose engine did not get a yearly oil service recently.
